Return and Refund Policy (DDP & International)

This Return and Refund Policy applies to all purchases made from ORIGINI TECH. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
1. General Information – DDP Orders
All international orders are shipped under Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) terms.
This means:

Taxes

Import duties
-
Customs fees
are included in the checkout price.
Customers will not be charged additional import fees upon delivery.
2. Consumer Cancellation Rights (EU & UK)
If you are a consumer located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
You may return the product even if it is not defective.
To exercise this right:

You must notify us within 14 days of receiving the goods.

You then have an additional 14 days to return the item.
Unless the item is defective or incorrectly supplied, customers are responsible for return shipping costs for cancellations under the 14-day withdrawal period.
Original standard delivery costs will be refunded where required by law.
We are not required to refund additional costs if expedited shipping was selected.
3. Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return outside statutory cancellation rights:

Items must be unused and in resalable condition

Original packaging should be included where reasonably possible

Proof of purchase is required
We reserve the right to reduce the refund amount if the value of the goods has diminished due to handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning (as permitted under EU/UK law).
4. How to Initiate a Return
You must contact us before returning any item.
We will provide return instructions and the appropriate return address.
Items sent without prior contact may experience processing delays.
5. International Returns & DDP
For DDP shipments:

Import duties and taxes paid at checkout are non-refundable once processed by customs authorities.

Refunds cover the product price and applicable refundable shipping costs as required by law.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

The item is defective

The item was damaged during transit

The wrong product was sent
In those cases, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.
6. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon receipt.
If the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect:

Provide photos where applicable
Where required by applicable law, we will:

Repair, replace, or

Issue a full refund
including standard delivery costs.
7. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:

Perishable goods

Custom or personalized products

Hazardous materials

Gift cards
-
Sealed goods not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once opened (where applicable)
This does not affect statutory rights where local law provides otherwise.
8. Exchanges
To exchange an item, return the original product and place a new order.
For defective items, contact us for assistance before placing a replacement order.
9. Refund Processing
Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
We will process refunds within:

14 days of receiving returned goods, or

14 days after receiving proof of return shipment
whichever occurs first (for EU/UK consumers).
Financial institutions may require additional time to complete the transaction.
10. Risk and Responsibility
For consumer purchases, risk remains with ORIGINI TECH until the goods are delivered to the customer.
We are not responsible for items lost during return shipment unless we arranged the return carrier.
We recommend using a tracked shipping method for returns.
11. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits liability for:

Death or personal injury caused by negligence

Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

Any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law
Subject to the above and to the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from returned goods.
12. International Customers Outside EU & UK
For customers outside the EU and UK:

Local consumer protection laws may apply.

Where mandatory rights apply, this policy will be interpreted to comply with those laws.
Otherwise, returns are handled in accordance with this policy.

The version published on our website at the time of purchase applies.
