Terms of Service
Last updated: July 14, 2026
Welcome to ORIGINI TECH.
ORIGINI TECH is operated by a sole trader established in the United Kingdom. These Terms of Service, referred to as the “Terms”, govern your access to and use of our website, online store, products and related services, collectively referred to as the “Services”.
Our online store is hosted and powered by Shopify.
By accessing our website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms together with all policies incorporated by reference, including our:
- Privacy Policy;
- Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy;
- Shipping Policy;
- Cookie Policy, where applicable.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or limits any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
1. Business Information
The Services are operated by:
Trading name: ORIGINI TECH
Business structure: Sole trader established in the United Kingdom
Email: support@originitech.com
Website: www.originitech.com
Additional legally required business and contact information may be displayed on our website, checkout pages, order communications or Legal Notice.
2. Eligibility
Our Services are intended for individuals who are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
By placing an order, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old, or have the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian;
- You have legal capacity to enter into the transaction;
- The information you provide is accurate and complete;
- You are authorised to use the selected payment method.
We may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably believe that these conditions have not been satisfied.
3. Use of the Website
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
- Use the Services in breach of any applicable law;
- Submit false or misleading information;
- Interfere with the website’s security or operation;
- Introduce malware, viruses or harmful code;
- Attempt unauthorised access to our systems or customer accounts;
- Use automated tools to scrape, copy or exploit the website without permission;
- Infringe our intellectual property rights or the rights of others;
- Engage in fraudulent, abusive or deceptive conduct.
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the Services, our customers or our legal rights.
4. Product Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, availability and prices are accurate.
However:
- Minor differences in colour may occur because of screen settings or manufacturing variations;
- Packaging may differ from the images shown;
- Measurements and weights may be approximate;
- Product availability may change;
- Typographical or technical errors may occasionally occur.
Any material product characteristics forming part of the purchase will be described on the relevant product page.
Nothing in this section affects the requirement that goods supplied to UK consumers must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for any purpose made known to us.
5. Prices, Taxes and Duties
Prices are displayed in the currency selected or shown on the website.
Unless stated otherwise:
- Prices include applicable taxes where required;
- Delivery charges are displayed before the order is submitted;
- Any optional additional charge will only be applied where you have expressly selected or agreed to it;
- Prices may change before an order is accepted.
For eligible Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) orders, applicable duties, import taxes and customs charges are included in the amount shown at checkout.
DDP treatment may depend on the destination, shipping service and product. The checkout information applying to the order takes priority.
We will not impose optional additional charges without the customer’s express agreement.
6. Placing an Order
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products shown in your order.
After submitting the order, you may receive an automated email acknowledging that we have received it. This acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
A binding contract is formed when we expressly accept the order, normally by:
- Sending a dispatch or shipping confirmation;
- Confirming that fulfilment has begun; or
- Otherwise expressly notifying you that the order has been accepted.
The contract will relate only to the products expressly accepted.
7. Refusal or Cancellation of Orders
Before an order is accepted, we may refuse or cancel it for legitimate reasons, including:
- Product unavailability;
- An obvious pricing or description error;
- Suspected fraud or unauthorised payment;
- An inability to deliver to the supplied address;
- Legal or regulatory restrictions;
- A breach of these Terms;
- A supplier or fulfilment issue preventing performance.
Where payment has already been taken for an order that we do not accept, we will refund the amount paid using the original payment method.
We will not cancel an accepted consumer order merely to avoid our legal obligations.
8. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the methods available at checkout.
Payment services may be provided by Shopify Payments or other independent payment providers.
You agree to provide accurate and complete:
- Billing information;
- Contact information;
- Payment information;
- Delivery information.
We may perform or rely upon fraud-prevention and payment-verification checks.
We do not ordinarily receive or store full payment-card information, which is processed by authorised payment providers.
9. Delivery and Fulfilment
Delivery estimates, methods and charges are shown on the website, product page, checkout or Shipping Policy.
Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly stated to be guaranteed.
Orders containing multiple products may be delivered:
- In separate parcels;
- On different dates;
- From different suppliers or fulfilment centres.
We will take reasonable steps to deliver within the stated timeframe.
For UK consumer orders, unless another period has been agreed, goods must ordinarily be delivered without undue delay and within the legally applicable timeframe.
Risk in goods purchased by a consumer remains with ORIGINI TECH until the goods are delivered to the customer or a person identified by the customer, subject to applicable law.
10. International Orders
We may sell and deliver products to customers outside the United Kingdom.
International customers are responsible for ensuring that:
- The product may lawfully be imported into their destination;
- The delivery address is complete and accurate;
- They comply with any mandatory local requirements applicable to the buyer.
Where an order is not shipped under DDP terms, local import taxes, customs duties or handling charges may be payable by the customer. Any such position will be communicated where reasonably possible before purchase.
Mandatory consumer laws in the customer’s country may also apply.
11. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms reduces or removes mandatory consumer rights.
For UK consumers, goods must be:
- Of satisfactory quality;
- Fit for purpose;
- As described.
Customers may also have rights to reject faulty goods, request repair or replacement, seek a price reduction or obtain a refund, depending on the circumstances and timing.
Consumers purchasing online may also have cancellation rights under distance-selling legislation. Details are contained in our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy. The UK requires online sellers to disclose key information concerning price, delivery, cancellation and contract conditions before the order is placed.
EU and other international customers may benefit from mandatory rights under the laws applying in their place of residence.
12. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations
Returns, refunds, exchanges and cancellations are governed by our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.
That policy forms part of these Terms.
Where there is any conflict between that policy and a mandatory consumer right, the mandatory right applies.
13. Customer Accounts
You may be able to create a customer account.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login information;
- Providing accurate account details;
- Informing us promptly of suspected unauthorised access;
- Activity carried out through your account, except where caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures.
We may suspend or close an account where necessary because of fraud, misuse, security risks or a material breach of these Terms.
14. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the website and its content are owned by or licensed to ORIGINI TECH.
This includes:
- Brand names;
- Logos;
- Text;
- Graphics;
- Website design;
- Product descriptions created by us;
- Photographs and videos;
- Software and website content.
You may view and use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, commercially exploit or publish protected content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
Third-party trademarks and content remain the property of their respective owners.
15. Reviews, Comments and User Content
Where you submit a review, photograph, comment, testimonial or other content, you confirm that:
- You have the right to submit it;
- It is truthful to the best of your knowledge;
- It does not infringe third-party rights;
- It is not unlawful, abusive, defamatory or misleading;
- It does not contain malware or harmful material.
You grant ORIGINI TECH a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and use that content for operating and promoting the Services.
This licence does not transfer ownership of your content to us.
We may moderate, reject or remove content where reasonably necessary, but we are not obliged to publish every submission.
We must not present reviews in a misleading way or claim that reviews are genuine without taking reasonable and proportionate steps to verify them, in accordance with applicable consumer law.
16. Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may include links, integrations, apps or tools provided by third parties, including:
- Shopify;
- Payment processors;
- Shipping providers;
- Analytics services;
- Advertising platforms;
- Social-media platforms.
Third parties may operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the content or conduct of an unrelated third-party website merely because the website links to it.
Nothing in this section excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
17. Availability of the Website
We aim to keep the website available and secure but cannot guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or error-free access.
We may temporarily suspend access for:
- Maintenance;
- Security updates;
- Technical problems;
- Service-provider outages;
- Legal or regulatory reasons.
This does not affect rights relating to orders already accepted.
18. Disclaimer
The website is provided on an “as available” basis for browsing and shopping.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that:
- The website will always be uninterrupted;
- All technical errors will be corrected immediately;
- The website will be compatible with every device or browser.
This disclaimer does not apply to statutory warranties, guarantees or rights relating to products purchased by consumers.
19. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- Breach of mandatory consumer rights;
- Defective products where liability cannot be excluded;
- Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
For consumer customers, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses that:
- Were not foreseeable when the contract was formed;
- Result from inaccurate information supplied by the customer;
- Result from events outside our reasonable control, except where the law places responsibility on us;
- Relate to business activity where the customer purchased solely as a consumer.
For business customers only, and to the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability relating to a particular order will not exceed the amount paid for that order.
Nothing in this section affects any remedy available under mandatory law.
20. Business Use and Indemnity
The Services are primarily intended for consumer purchases.
Where a person uses the Services for commercial purposes, they agree to indemnify ORIGINI TECH against reasonable losses, claims and costs arising directly from:
- Their unlawful use of the Services;
- Their infringement of third-party rights;
- Their material breach of these Terms.
This clause does not apply to ordinary consumer use and does not require indemnification for losses caused by ORIGINI TECH.
21. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as:
- Natural disasters;
- War or civil disturbance;
- Government restrictions;
- Major carrier disruption;
- Customs disruption;
- Industrial action not involving our own workforce;
- Widespread internet or infrastructure failure;
- Supplier shutdowns beyond our reasonable control.
We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effects of the event and resume performance.
This clause does not remove rights customers may have to cancel an order or obtain a refund where performance becomes impossible or excessively delayed.
22. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the website or an account where there is:
- Fraud;
- Serious misuse;
- A security threat;
- A material or repeated breach of these Terms;
- A legal requirement to do so.
Termination does not affect rights, payments or obligations that arose before termination.
23. Changes to the Services
We may modify, discontinue or update parts of the website or Services.
Changes will not retrospectively alter the agreed terms of an order already accepted, unless:
- Required by law;
- Agreed with the customer; or
- The change benefits the customer without reducing their rights.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect:
- Legal changes;
- Changes in business operations;
- New Shopify functionality;
- New payment or delivery services;
- Security or technical developments.
The Terms in force when an order is accepted will apply to that transaction.
The revised date will appear at the top of this page.
25. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as modified or removed only to the minimum extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will remain in effect.
26. No Waiver
If we delay or fail to enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we waive the right to enforce it later.
27. Transfer of Rights
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms as part of a genuine sale, restructuring or transfer of the business, provided that this does not reduce a consumer’s rights.
A customer may transfer their rights where permitted by law or with our written agreement.
28. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the policies expressly incorporated into them, form the agreement between ORIGINI TECH and the customer concerning use of the Services and purchases from our store.
This clause does not exclude liability for fraud or prevent reliance on mandatory information or representations forming part of a consumer contract.
29. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living in another part of the United Kingdom or another country, you may also benefit from mandatory protections under the law of your place of residence.
Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of mandatory local protections.
Consumers may bring proceedings in any court that has jurisdiction under applicable consumer law.
